Science is not a perfect thing, but it is the best system we have for verifying, learning, and understanding the world around us. This doesn't have to mean purely understanding the physical seemingly concrete world that is easy to see, but science can also help us understand our spiritual nature. It reveals to us that all matter is energy, that everything comes from light; the power of the sun. Here's a quote from the comedian Bill Hicks; r.i.p. (1961 - 1994)
