Jackson Pollack on the Modern Artist

I don't care what anyone says, Jackson Pollock is the MAN when it comes to painting. And he doesn't need my praise, so let's hear Pollack in his own words with this quote:

"The modern artist... is working and expressing an inner world - in other words - expressing the energy, the motion, and other inner forces."

Science, metaphysics, geometry, energy, all of these things are not different from what a painter deals with. Pollock sought out the very inner nature of what made him Jackson Pollock and what made him human.
