I can't help it, this is one of the funnest drawing tools/toys that I have found so far on the net. Make your own Jackson Pollock below, or play with the full screen version at JacksonPollack.org. For a more serious inquiry into Pollack's work check out Jackson Pollock Unauthorized.

“Abstract painting is abstract. It confronts you. There was a reviewer a while back who wrote that my pictures didn't have any beginning or any end. He didn't mean it as a compliment, but it was.”
-Jackson Pollock
Check out this cool little design toy (below the image); I made the picture below with it. (If you need a good free screenshot-saving program, check out ScreenPrint32.) It reminds me of the work of Keith Haring (1958 - 1990). His work can be described as a modern version of ancient symbols; using line, color, and repeating images to convey a kind of universal language.
If you find Haring's work as interesting as I do or if you just want to know more, read this article about Haring and his neo-expressionist, New York, 1980's cohorts: "New York Expression: Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Kenny Scharf, David Salle, George Condo, Donald Baechler " . The article is a small insight into one of my favorite art genre's of all time. Also visit the Keith Haring Foundation charity.

"My contribution to the world is my ability to draw. I will draw as much as I can for as many people as I can for as long as I can. Drawing is still basically the same as it has been since prehistoric times. It brings together man and the world. It lives through magic."-Keith Haring
